Dear Colleagues in the US and Around the World:

As Vice-President of the American Music Therapy (AMTA), it is my great pleasure to connect across borders in extending an invite to each of you to consider attending and/or submitting a proposal to present at the 2012 AMTA conference. The conference will be held just outside the Chicago are in St. Charles, IL – with opportunities for professional growth and networking, as well as enjoying the sites in the surrounding area and neighbouring Chicago:

Changing Winds: Innovation in Music Therapy

Make your plans now for the 2012 AMTA Conference in St. Charles, Illinois (just outside of Chicago).   We welcome your proposals. The Opening Session begins on October 11, 2012 at 7:30 pm.

  • Concurrent Sessions: Oct. 11-14, 2012
  • Meetings: Oct. 9 – 14, 2012
  • Institutes:  Oct. 10, 2012
  • CMTEs:  Oct. 11 & 14, 2012 

Please note: There are separate proposal forms for CMTE courses and concurrent sessions. The forms are located at: http://www.musictherapy.org/ – scroll down under latest news on the right hand side.

Firm deadline for all proposal submissions is March 1, 2012.
